  • when is flight season?

    Carson Valley Flights are scheduled from December - April and can reach elevations of 10,000 feet, making it possible to look over the Sierras to Lake Tahoe. Hot air balloon voyages with Lake Tahoe Flights take place May - October and reach 8,000 - 10,000 feet above sea level.
  • how long are the tours?

    Guests should allow approximately four hours for the entire trip. Most tours begin shortly after sunrise when balloon conditions are best and the scenery is highlighted by the rising sun. Guests are encouraged to book their tour in advance as spots can fill up quickly.
