Located one–half block west of Stateline and 3 blocks south of the Inn, Heavenly Gondola transports you in an eight–passenger cabin 2.4 miles up the mountain in 12 minutes, all the while offering up eye– catching views of Lake Tahoe. The First Stop– the Deck, a 14,000 square foot mid–station observation platform located at 9,123 feet. The Deck treats visitors to incredible scenes of Lake Tahoe, the Carson Valley and Desolation Wilderness.

Sightseers can keep the excitement going by paying a visit to Adventure Peak, the last stop on the gondola before returning to lake level and the Heavenly Village. Adventure Peak, open year–round, features a long list of activities designed to entertain the whole family for hours on end.

Adventure Peak features its own snow park (seasonal) where you can, for an additional fee, enjoy winter activities such as sledding, tubing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Or enjoy a 25 foot rock climbing wall, miles of hiking trails designed for beginner to expert hikers and an open–air café and bar (Adventure Peak Grill) all set on acres of wide open terrain.
